Leadership Style - Workshop 3

This workshop educates leader/managers on several styles of leadership further supporting leader/managers with a comprehensive understanding of leader styles that suit a particular workforce. There is no one size fits all approach, however, some theories can overlap with the exception of understanding the difference in outcomes and how people 'feel' when leaders follow a particular style of leadership.

Throughout this workshop, we discuss how each discipline of style, can be effective in people management and look into the characteristics that can bring on red flags. Leader/managers go through a process of understanding what style of leadership they have been programmed into up to the present, and how they can develop into a great leader through personal development.

 

After completing workshop 1 & 2, Leader/managers self awareness becomes part of their cognitive thought leader thinking on a day to day basis, not just in business, but further supporting a growth mindset in the participants personal life.

The focus leadership styles are agile, transformational, servant and authentic. While there are pro's and cons for each style of leadership for discussion, the workshop helps leader/managers secure a style that is best suited to the situation and workforce they manage.

At the completion of this workshop, leader/managers will have one on one discussions in depth, regarding the challenges leaders face when dealing with challenging personalities, and the changes that can be made to support a communication environment.

An emphasis on giving the workforce purpose which leads to retaining employees and a workplace that delivers a culture focussed on achieving common goals.

What's the difference between Servant Leadership and Transformational Leadership?

 

Servant Leadership and Transformational Leadership are two leadership styles that prioritize the needs of followers and aim to inspire change and growth. However, they differ in their approach and core beliefs.

​

Servant Leadership is a leadership style that places the needs and well-being of followers above all else. The focus of a servant leader is on serving and empowering others to reach their full potential. They view their role as one of a servant, providing guidance and support to their followers.

Transformational Leadership, on the other hand, is a leadership style that focuses on inspiring and motivating followers to bring about change and growth. Transformational leaders have a clear vision and a strong sense of purpose, and they work to inspire their followers to work together towards a common goal. Unlike servant leaders, transformational leaders are often more charismatic and enthusiastic, and they aim to bring about transformation by inspiring their followers to embrace change.

Servant Leadership and Transformational Leadership are two distinct leadership styles that prioritize the needs of followers and aim to inspire growth and change. Both styles have their unique strengths and weaknesses, and the best leadership style will depend on the specific context and the needs of the followers. However, both styles share a common goal of empowering followers, promoting teamwork, and inspiring growth and change.
